Bond James Casino Royale (DVD) elokuva

Vauhkoaminen uuden James Bondin hiustenväristä lienee laantunut sopivasti Casino Royale (2006) -ensi-illan saapuessa. Vaikka Bond onkin saanut uutta elämää ja syytä elää ovat tuotannon takapirut samoja kasvoja kuten ennenkin. Ohjaaja Martin Campbell survaisi kasan tylsiä agenttikliseitä GoldenEyessä, mutta rohkea veto tuoda Paul Haggis (Crash) käsikirjoittamaan uudenlaista James Bondia maksoi itsensä takaisin. Pelkoa ja inhoa herättänyt […]

The film is loosely based on Fleming’s , the only Bond book for which producers Albert R. Broccoli and did not hold the rights. Rather than try and compete with the popular movies, the filmmakers decided to shoot the novel as a spoof. However, the production quickly spiraled out of control with five directors working simultaneously but never in conjunction with each other. Eight writers (most uncredited) also worked on the screenplay, including , , and . In addition, there were problems with the performers, most notably Sellers, who reportedly did not get along with Welles and refused to shoot scenes with him. Eventually, Sellers left the production. The resulting film is disjointed and nearly impossible to follow. However, with an all-star cast, an outstanding production design, and a soundtrack that included and , Casino Royale was a box-office hit, and it later became a cult classic. A second big-screen of Casino Royale was released in 2006 to great acclaim; a dramatic version of Fleming’s novel, it starred .

Parents need to know that Casino Royale is the much-hyped re-start to the . The new 007, however, is darker than previous incarnations. His sly, barely perceptible smile suggests that he relishes revenge and takes pleasure in his violence. The film is full of violence, including spectacular explosions, intense physical fights, shooting, knifing, cars crashing, and drowning. Dead bodies show blood and vacant-eyed faces. A torture scene (featuring a naked Bond) shows him in obvious pain as his genitals are smashed with a large, knotted rope. One main character meets a sad demise. Sex scenes show Bond with two different women, in various states of undress. Lots of martini-drinking as Bond discovers his drink of choice (thanks to liquor sponsors Heineken and Smirnoff). The language is pretty mild.

Just as the first James Bond novel centered around a casino, the first foray into film featured some of its most memorable moments in an exotic gambling venue. In Dr. No, the inaugural Bond movie, the character played by Sean Connery visits a classic, old-fashioned casino, where the people are glamorous, the scenery is luxurious, and the cocktails are flowing. Connery’s Bond enters the casino ostensibly for a game of Chemin de Fer, which is an old-school variation on baccarat. Watched by the character Sylvia Trench before eventually meeting her, this is the first scene where the eponymous character utters what will become his signature line. When asked for his name, the secret agent replies “Bond. James Bond”, thus setting off a tradition that will carry through the entire series of films. Not only did this film start the James Bond franchise it also started changing people’s opinions and thoughts on gambling, with many people now having a positive attitude towards playing casino games. It’s the best time to play casino games now more than ever with the boom of online casinos and the choice of providers and games available online. Some providers now offer a feature so you can get the experience and atmosphere of being in a live casino, much like the ones in the classic Bond films!

Casino Royale is part of the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions. Released in 2006, it was the third adaptation of Ian Fleming's novel of the same name. Martin Campbell took the director’s chair and Robert Wade wrote the screenplay alongside Neil Purvis and Paul Haggis. Daniel Craig portrays James Bond for the first time in this film and is joined by Eva Green, Judi Dench, Mads Mikkelsen, and Jeffrey Wright. The story revolves around Bond's task of defeating Le Chiffre, a terrorist financier, by winning a game of high-stakes poker at the Casino Royale in Montenegro. After the release of Die Another Day in 2002, Eon Productions decided to reboot the James Bond franchise. The aim was to move away from unrealistic elements that were present in previous films and instead focus on a more vulnerable and less experienced Bond. To achieve this, they embarked on an extensive search for a new actor to replace Pierce Brosnan in the role of Bond. The announcement of Daniel Craig as the new Bond was made in October 2005. Casino Royale made its debut at Odeon Leicester Square on November 14th, 2006. It was later released in the United Kingdom on November 16th and in the United States the following day. The movie was met with critical acclaim, particularly for Daniel Craig's fresh take on the character and the departure from traditional Bond film tropes. It earned over $616 million globally, making it the highest-grossing James Bond film until the release of Skyfall in 2012. In fact, it was the fourth highest-grossing film of 2006. A sequel to the film, Quantum of Solace, was released in 2008.

James Bond on taas täällä.

CASINO ROYALE - FIRST FULL TRAILER

Dustin Boshers is absolutely right when it comes to Casino Royale trying to make the world of big money gambling a little more accessible to a common theatrical audience. It’s one of the reasons why instead of featuring James Bond’s traditional game of choice, Baccarat, the 2006 relaunch switched to No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em. As that particular card game was seeing quite a bit of popularity attached to itself, it only made sense to have , and Mads Mikkelsen playing a five card draw to the death. And as you’ll see in the clip included below, there’s quite a play-by-play nature to the pass time that makes for a pivotal plot device in Craig’s first film in the tuxedo:
